This is Queen's Head Rock, circa 1964, my father on the left, with his 3rd brother and a friend.

Queen's Head Rock today looks much the same except it has been damaged by vandals who tried to chop off the head at the neck of rock (like stolen Buddha heads), but the thieves were not successful, the rock proved to be much tougher than their tools. But the scar of this aborted theft runs along the rock.
